I'm Karishma! I currently teach Rhetoric and Composition at a community college, specifically for college freshmen. I also graduated with a Master's degree in English Studies specializing in Rhetoric and Composition, and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in English Education. Throughout my teaching career, I realized that having the right teacher for a class is essential. Having taught both high school and college-level English classrooms for the past few years, I always aim to engage my students as well as work with them one-on-one to help them succeed. I try to also use this in my tutoring approach in order to make learning a pleasant experience.

I have experience teaching grades 9-12 in English as well as teaching freshman composition courses at the college-level. I have taught classes with up to 30 students but also worked directly with students who needed any additional assistance. I've also worked as a writing tutor at a community college where students have come in for one-on-one help with their writing skills.
