We are so glad that we found such a competent tutor in Malgorzata. My son is a upcoming senior in high school and is preparing for the ACT. His previous tutor had to stop tutoring for private reasons and Malgorzata was able to step in immediately and take over where she left off. She is very flexible in her scheduling and my son is very impressed with her knowledge and her kindness. She goes out of her way to provide extra study materials for him when he has a specific problem or area of difficulty. I am always able to reach her by email and she responds quickly. I would highly recommend Malgorzata as a tutor.
Explained problems and went through them step-by-step. Was very good at explaining geometry concepts and review problems for schoolwork. Easy to contact and was flexible with her schedule.
She was very thorough in explaining the areas my daughter needed help on her Geometry problems. It was very quick and easy for my daughter to understand the problems after tutor explain. My daughter felt confident after her tutor left and wants to keep her on a weekly routine basis.
Malgorzata is very patient and explains things in detail. She will devote as much time as is needed to explain something. She is easy to get a hold of, and will do everything to accommodate your schedule.
What a great tutor! I am so glad we found such a wonderful teacher! Malgorzata was able to find a way to teach my son everything he had difficulty understanding. She also taught him how to organize his study materials, how to finish each test on time and showed him most efficient ways to study. Now, every day my son comes back from school with a smile on his face and without asking I know he got one more A in math. Malgorzata was very creative and made each session fun - that was very important for me because it showed that she really cares. I would highly recommend her as a tutor.
My son was tutored by someone else for 7 months and even though she was nice and patient my son did not improve. I hired Malgorzata and my son learned his multiplications in less than 3 months and is still going strong. It is all about her methods and persistence. Malgorzata will continue to tutor my son during the school year and we are confident with her help that he will go from F's to A's in math. I will definitely update the review with his first report card. Please know that if your child is lacking confidence that she will boost your child in math.
My daughter has had four sessions with Malgorzata and is very pleased with her. My daughter feels comfortable with her and feels she can communicate with her if she does not understand the materials.
Malgorzata is patient, easy to talk to and understand the materials and needs of her students.
Her methods are non-intimidating to her students. I'm glad I found this site and my tutor! We will be signing up for more sessions throughout the school year. Thanks!
Malgorzata is tutoring my five and six year old children to speak, read and write in Polish. Her methods are very interactive and creative. She works very well with them and we have seen good progress.
She is very patient and efficient. Always punctual, hardworking and dedicated. I had a great experience and I recommend her as a tutor to anyone that is eager to learn. Thank you.
My son has been a challenge to help; I did it myself for months. I regret not reaching out earlier to WyzAnt and Malgorzata specifically. He can be impatient and sometime combative. Other tutors have not worked out. Malgorzata worked with him for his Junior HS math final. After getting a F for a while, with her help he end the sememter with a C final grade. She was patient, on time, and flexible.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am a certified high school math teacher with experience working with students from K-12. I am a teacher for the last 8 years at the high school level and have been tutoring students from different grade levels for about 12 years now.
Even though I am certified math teacher (5-12), I enjoy different subjects and students of any age. Prior my B.A. in Math, I spent about 5 years privately tutoring students from k-12. I have experience teaching them math, English (especially ESL - I myself was an ESL student), U.S. History, Language Arts, science, Spanish (especially grades k-5), music, P.E. and art. I am really gifted in many subjects, but since I had to decide about my major, I chose to obtain a B.A. in math. Besides teaching in high school, I continue working with some of the students from elementary. I enjoy working with them - they help me to grow as a true educator. I like to teach my "little ones"!!!

I was first introduced to Microsoft Outlook about 2 years ago. I really enjoy it. It made my life much simpler. Now, I use Microsoft Outlook every day to send and receive e-mails, plan different events, organize my weekly schedule, etc. One of the best features for me is the ability to see e-mails and calendar in the same window! I also like the e-mails with the alarm - reminders of some important meetings and appointments. The alarm is great as long as do not misuse the snooze button... :)
I think that Outlook has many wonderful features and I wish to let others know about them.
Polish is my native language... I was born in Poland and I attended elementary school and high school there. I finished my college degree in the USA. I speak, read, and write fluently in both English and Polish.
I am a high school math teacher and I am currently preparing my own students for their SAT exam on April 5th. We are covering math content as well as different strategies, tips, hints, short cuts, etc.
I have experience tutoring/teaching Spanish at the beginner's and intermediate levels. I took several courses of Spanish myself - in school and online. Ever since I did learn Spanish myself, I started to teach it especially to the students from k-8 and just a couple of high school students. I use different resources to teach Spanish: my own expertise, songs, CDs, handouts, worksheets, books, and different activities that reinforce learning the new language.
I have experience working with special education students and teachers for at least 2 years now. I teach math in inclusion classrooms. I accommodate and modify my assignments and curriculum to meet the needs of students with special needs (gifted students, students with learning disabilities, students with 504 plans, etc.). Over these two years, I had a privilege to work with students with seizure, asthma, back problems, learning disabilities, emotional problems, and gifted students. I follow their IEPs to provide the best services and teaching experience to each one of them. Personally, I really enjoy working with special education students - they help me grow as a true teacher.
I have many years of personal experience of learning how to study. I was learning them from my teachers and classmates when I was in an elementary and high school. I was always trying to find different ways to learn and different ways to study. I knew that I had to be well prepared for college because if I would not know how to study, it would take me much longer time to graduate. Now, I am a math teacher who, for the last few years, teaches her students the most efficient ways to study. You can gain these skills too, if you want to. You decide.
