Hi, I'm Alyssa. I graduated with my Master of Sciences degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences in 2000. Two years earlier, I graduated summa cum laude with my Bachelor's degree. I hold certification to work as a speech-language pathologist in Illinois public schools.

My son has been meeting with Alyssa for around two years now, on a weekly basis, even through the summer. I am so grateful we found her! Alyssa manages to keep each session interesting and engaging for my son. He is your typical boy that does not want to have a tutor. But Alyssa is truly an angel. She has found a way to bring out the best in him each week and is so kind and supportive. Wonderful Tutor
Alyssa has been helping my son, a college student with autism, with his essay. She is incredibly kind, patient, and supportive. Communication has been excellent, and she always takes the time to understand his needs. During one session that had to be cut short due to an emergency, Alyssa graciously offered to adjust her fee, which meant a lot to us. It’s clear that she genuinely cares and is invested in her students’ success.
