My experience has been in IT shops ranging in size from a few million to many billions of dollars in revenue which has provided me the unique opportunity to see how specialization and staffing can be both beneficial and wasteful. I enjoy technology and staying involved at many levels. My outstanding people skills and tech-savvy are what make me unparalleled.

Computer Programming,

Computer Programming

Shortly after achieving undergrad degree I went to work for Caterpillar Tractor Company programming mainframes and mid-range IBM server. Later I went on to work for the Lawrence Paper Company where I mastered client-server design and began mentoring the team. It was at this point I started writing articles for a programming periodical and was recruited to work for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. I was installed into a new position where I was a corporate technology instructor. I taught design courses that helped programmers understand the new OO programming models and later resigned to start my own company. I now provide classroom and online training for Fortune 500 companies across the US.
Computer Science,

Computer Science

My degree is in Computer Science and the demands placed on this student are extreme. From logic circuits to cluster and clouds, this topic is fascinating for those who like to solve big puzzles.
Web Design,

Web Design

I have designed and modeled web applications that scale to millions of transactions a second. You build it and they will come is the motto. I have massive understanding of the web, server and payloads being transferred between the two. Moreover, with mobile being all the rage, my new challenges involve using the web in non-traditional ways to connect phones and tablets to back end servers.

Excellent teacher

He knows his stuff in Java. From the discussion I had with him, he is far more up to date regarding Java and can teach it better than many instructors out there. He not only teaches it in an academic setting, but has taught in industry and government as well.

Awesome!

I was having issues with understanding Java programming, and I met with Scott and it finally makes sense. Scott was very nice, has great communication, patient, open, and straight to the point. I showed him my assignment based on how my professor wanted it done, he understood what I needed to do and helped me think through the process to ensure that I understood it. Not to mention a few tips and tricks to make working in Eclipse easier. I turned my assignment in to my professor the same evening and receive a 100% on the assignment along with a comment regarding how well it was done! I am actually excited about doing other assignments in the course and I will definitely be contacting Scott for additional sessions!!!
