I am very passionate about the content taught in the elementary and middle school levels. I am currently student teaching at a Middle School in Swansea, IL. I am scheduled to graduate and receive my (K-9) teaching certification in May of 2014. I have openings in the evenings after 5:00pm to tutor students. My emphasis area is math.
I always go above and beyond to help students understand and learn concepts. I allow my students to explore the different ways of solving problems until they find the strategy that they feel the most comfortable with. While tutoring my students in their current school content, I also prepare them for the content they will see following the session. I believe that every student has the gift of the ability to love learning, and to find success in school and in himself.
