I have been a private/freelance ESL teacher for a over 5 years working with personal and professional contacts as well as with refugees. I am currently an English Instructor at a language school in Chicago and decided to make ESL education official in my life by obtaining a Cambridge CELTA certification and proceeded to pursue a masters in Applied Linguistics & Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) which is in progress with highest marks.
I am eager to bring my skills as a teacher and collaborator to institutions near and far in hopes that I may provide students from all over the world with a wonderful and beneficial English learning experience.
I specialize in public speaking, reading, writing, listening comprehension, and overall being a better conversationalist. Communication is a passion of mine and my goal as a teacher is to transfer my communication skills and knowledge to my students so that they may succeed in whatever they do and feel great while doing it.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
