I got my wife a camera as a gift and we didn't know where to begin to understand how to use it. James was patient, knowledgeable, and had great teaching instincts. We will use him again and recommend him to anyone!
James would be very good if you were just learning how to do Photoshop. Since I have quite a good working knowledge of Adobe Bridge, Camera Raw & Photoshop, he was not as advanced as I would require someone to be. He was very patient and nice, and I'm sure would be a good fit depending on your starting point.
Since my original Photoshop Elements software, a lot changed when I bought version 11 recently. I needed someone to help me navigate and understand that I was unfamiliar with some of the functions. He showed up on time, knows Photoshop inside and out, and accomplished a lot with me quickly. His teaching style is friendly and patient. I recommend him strongly.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
