BA Northern Illinois University (Computer Science)
I am a third year student attending Northern Illinois University. I am very proficient in math. I have taken Calculus one, two, and three, and currently taking Differential Equations. I am majoring in Computer Science, and obtaining a minor in Math. I am also however, a well rounded student. I have taken multiple Writing courses, and was at one point very interested in chemistry and really enjoyed and did well in my chemistry classes.
In my senior year of high school, I was a teacher's assistant when I took AP Computer Science again as an independent study. As a teachers assistant I not only taught the class once a week, but most of the time I was helping people with problems they had, show them new ways to think about these problems, and make the class feel fun and rewarding for them. This is when I realized how much I loved helping people in subjects that I myself enjoyed as well. I can see directly how my help affects the students, and this was not only rewarding for them but for me as well.
I am qualified in Prealgebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Elementary Math, Precalculus, and even higher level math courses such as Calculus 1 and 2.
I am very enthusiastic to help out anyone who needs help with Mathematics. If you need any help, contact me, I am flexible and can find time to help almost any day of the week. I look forward to meeting you. I am a third year student attending Northern Illinois University. I am very proficient in math. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
