Student enrichment is one of the main focuses in my life. This Fall, I will be studying Adult & Higher Education at NIU in order to improve my skills in student theory and development. I strongly believe in teaching students the importance of learning and helping them develop a passion to understand why the work they are doing is important. My strategy is not to ask all of the questions and give the answers, but to help them figure out how to start asking themselves the right questions and how to go about answering them. I am a constant resource for my peers in regard to editing and proofreading and have tutored high school and middle school aged students in math. I am interested in helping all students K-12 with any basic subject they may be struggling with.
