I am a good tutor because of my great desire to be of service, and share my vast accounting and life experiences. I can still remember what it was like when I was in school and just starting out. I bring REAL Work experience to my tutoring, and a desire to just help. I have been an accountant for over 40 years, tutoring for 8 years employed at College of Lake County in their certified tutoring program specializing in Financial and Managerial accounting . I have also now found a great LOVE of sharing my vast accounting knowledge with the future accountants. Have worked in a wide variety of organizations, both for profit and non profit, service companies, manufactures, distributors, retail, and wholesale, from large international to family business. I have been from a staff accountant on up to Controller and Director of accounting. In all my years of accounting I have worked with and been involved with many different types of audits. I also am familiar with many different types of accounting software's and Excel.
