I get a unique sense of thrill and satisfaction from helping students on their journeys of self-improvement. As someone who is currently in a doctoral program, I am familiar with how commitment to learning can pay off. I have worked as an academic tutor for universities, and also privately for several years. As a result, I have have the pleasure of seeing firsthand students realizing their own potential with improvements in grades and test scores. Tutoring has always felt rewarding.

I specialize in tutoring sciences K-12 for success school and on exams. With a Biochemistry degree, scientific principles and concepts were pillars of my university education. I have completed a full year of organic chemistry with top grades and scored between 75-85% on the National ACS Organic Chemistry Exam. The principles of organic chemistry are a salient part of my education. I have also tutored this specific subject for the past 4 yrs.

The mission regardless of the subject is to stimulate the student towards intellectual independence. I like to offer homework to reinforce the lessons, and give assessments or progress reports along the way.

I believe self-improvement is a dynamic process and so I often seek feedback. With progress being the goal, I believe payments for lessons should be informed by such indications.
