Hi! I've been a part-time lecturer for Rutgers University for 5 semesters where I taught Physics to second-year engineering students. I've also had some experience tutoring AP Physics and am extremely comfortable teaching mathematics at levels from high school to college math. I hope to not just help you understand the material, but enable you to do it yourself. My approach to teaching depends on students, but I like to start by going over general concepts and occasionally quiz students as we go through the concepts to ensure engagement. From there, I'll challenge students with practice questions that are intended to illustrate caveats and qualifiers that might need to be applied to the general concepts learned. Students are then free to solve problems on their own and ask me for help as they see fit.

Students who take classes with me should come in with a plan and some resources in hand in order to ensure the most effective use of our time. That way, we can get right to discussing the subject area about which they are interested in learning. If students are preparing for a standardized test of some sort, they should come in with a first attempt at a practice exam so we have something to review and a general idea of how to improve.

Used techniques from Calculus, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, and Statistics heavily in my research career and will continue to use it.

Undergraduate major in physics, graduated highest honors in Physics from Undergraduate college. Pursuing a graduate degree in a related field.

I've taken two semesters of linear algebra appropriate for a mathematics major. I additionally study machine learning heavily and as a result, am comfortable techniques from linear algebra used to make computations easier. My background in physics also required extensive understanding of linear algebra and vector spaces. This prepares me to help you with a whole host of problems you might face in linear algebra.
