I am a 25-year-old recent graduate who is an experienced teacher and tutor in more than one discipline. I hold a bachelors degree in sociology from Loyola University Chicago, and a Masters degree and international relations from Haifa University Israel. I am bilingual, speaking both English and Arabic fluently. I have tutored students in math, science, and English from ages 10 to 18 for over 6 years, and I enjoy it.
In addition to tutoring in my home or the students' home, I have taught basic to professional English at a Wall Street English branch in Nazareth, Israel. My passion is teaching math and English writing to elementary and high school students. I love being a part of students' success, which is why I do what I do.
I have taken all these courses in addition to precalculus in elementary and high school and received A's in all. I have taken precalculus and Calculus 1 in college and received an A in both. These are basic math courses that I can teach and make fun for the students.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Throughout high school, I took algebra one, algebra two, geometry, and pre-calculus. I received a A's in all four.
I have also taken pre-calculus and calculus 1 in my undergrad studies at Loyola University Chicago. I received an A in precalculus and an A in Calc 1.
I have also tutored students from elementary through high school for over 6 years now. I am very comfortable in teaching math at most levels.
