I am the second oldest of 11. I have so many younger siblings in various age groups that I have experience with homework help from every grade level! I have so much fun tutoring because knowing that someone else understands something, makes me better understand the gift of learning as well. I love seeing all of your smiling faces once you accomplish new goals and learn complicated or confusing topics and subjects. I have an additional two years of teaching English, Reading, Writing, and Literature in a literacy lab as a tutor in the past for my high school. Teaching and helping students is one of my favorite things in the world. I worked as a teaching internship last year in a 5th grade classroom environment, so I am very familiar with that age group and their studies especially. If you're in need of some help with homework, tests, college applications, essays, ACT reading and writing prep, or just have trouble understanding books you read in school and need an extra hand, let me know. I'd be more than happy to help you!
If you need help with English, you've come to the right place. Whether it's thesis statements, English novels, essays, making connections between texts, understanding story elements, or just learning to become a better reader, I've got your back! I love reading, anything and everything, and if you don't enjoy it, I'm sure I could find something for you to look about it. I've been in honors English classes all my life, and am currently in higher level upperclassmen college English courses as a Freshman. I did very well on my English, Reading, and Writing portions of my ACT, and it all just comes naturally to me. I'm very helpful with explanations and can I'm sure I can give you a hand with whatever necessary to help you get a better understanding of English.
Reaching out for help is the hardest part. Sometimes we just want to be quick to get the ideas down and intelligent students. Getting academic help is not a bad thing, it just means you care enough to go get that extra help and better understanding of problems you're struggling with. If you need help with English, Reading, Writing, Proofreading, or anything of that sort, feel free to contact me. I hope to hear from you soon! I am the second oldest of 11. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
