Bio

I am a teacher with ten years of experience teaching students with disabilities in grades K-8. I love watching students learn and feel that many students who struggle with learning have not been able to feel successful. A student who feels success is more likely to become motivated and take larger academic risks which results in him or her challenging themselves more. I love watching students learn and feel that many students who struggle with learning have not been able to feel successful. A student who feels success is more likely to become motivated and take larger academic risks which results in him or her challenging themselves more. I believe that learning should be fun and hands on and try to plan my lessons in as much of a project based approach or real life experience as I can.

I have taught elementary math for ten years. I love watching students engage and explore math concepts. I also love to teach math in as systematic process as possible, making challenging and difficult or abstract concepts more real to students.

I am certified in the Wilson Reading System. I have taught students decoding skills, comprehension skills, and fluency skills.

As a special education teacher, I have taught students in K-8.

I am certified in special education. I have a bachelors and master's degree in special education. I have written many IEP's, behavior plans, and worked with all types of students with various disabilities from LD to behavior to ASD.

If you want a fun tutor that will produce dynamic lessons that will help you feel successful, then I am the guy to contact! Let's start feeling that success today!

I have taught math for students in grades K-8. I believe that math should be fun, systematic, and hands on.
