Bowdoin College (Classics, Psychology)
University of Chicago (Master's)
As a University of Chicago graduate student, I am committed to advancing education for all students. I am studying psychology, and particularly moral decision-making in pursuit of a PhD so that I can become a professor of moral psychology. In addition to my graduate studies, I enjoyed my experience as a cum laude student at Bowdoin College in Maine. These higher education opportunities have furthered my knowledge and teaching skills. I love learning and have been fortunate to receive advanced education. Thus, my goal is to help enable others to achieve their educational goals and foster a love of learning.
My background in psychology, neuroscience, and classics has given me the well-rounded education to tutor across disciplines. Likewise, I went to Bowdoin College and was accepted to multiple colleges including an Ivy league school. Therefore, I am prepared to help students achieve their ACT and SA goals and prepare for college entrance and education.
I hope to keep students interested, engaged, and challenged, but I do not want them to feel as if they are doing busy work or be too frustrated to enjoy their studies. I will provide regular homework and progress reports. I am available in the evening and weekends at your convenience.
I look forward to hearing from you!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
