As much as I love learning myself, I also love to help others learn and understand. That's why I have been tutoring and teaching others since my high-school days. I started off tutoring my peers in high school and college and have progressed to tutoring elementary, middle school, high school and undergraduates in Bio, Chem, Physics, and Math as a graduate student. It's a lot of fun to take complex ideas and explain them in an understandable and intuitive way and there's nothing like helping someone succeed in something that they struggle with.
I have tutored a ton of different subjects including Biology (cell bio, molecular bio, genetics, biochemistry, etc.), Inorganic Chem, Physics, and math (algebra, geometry, trig, pre-calc, calculus, etc). I have also done some SAT/ACT, MCAT and GRE tutoring.
I am currently doing a PhD in Cell Biology at UIC. That keeps me pretty busy, but my schedule is flexible, so whatever your scheduling needs I'm sure we can find a time that works for you. I prefer online tutoring via Skype, Google Hangouts, etc, but we can also work something out for meeting in person.
Can't wait to hear from you!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
