I first started enjoying math when I was in middle school. My teacher influenced the way I understood the material and she took pride in the subject, as I do now. Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. After taking advanced math courses in both high school and college, I was able to better understand the concepts tested on the SAT Math section. I tutored SAT Math prep for over a year with sophomores, juniors and seniors in high school. Most sessions lasted 2 hours and I encouraged students to study and gave them customized homework.
