I've been a Spanish Teacher for +15 years and I have successfully transitioned my students into a level of communication where they use Spanish in the everyday experiences, beyond the school setting. I have also taught Spanish as a Heritage Language: Students read novels and write essays in Spanish as part of their Literature and Letters growth. Students also analyze, discuss, and defend points of view in their Heritage Language, Spanish.
I've been a Second/Foreign Language Learner myself and I know what students are going through when learning their Second/Foreign language. I have the experience of being a successful Foreign Language student and that's why I decided to become a Foreign Language Teacher, to help people!
You can learn anything you want. I'll help you go through the process in a fun way! See you soon! In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
