About Me:
I am currently a 4th year medical student at Rush Medical College. Having had experience as a high school teacher in Physics and Chemistry, I am using that experience to co-teach 1st year medical students alongside physicians. I had received positive feedback which revolves around helping students to develop the capacity to understand the basic concepts and work their way up from thereon. This allows them to reduce reliance of memorization of facts and increase it toward reverse-engineering any problem that is thrown their way.

If you are interested in this learning approach, please let me know. I would be happy to assist you in continuing your academic success.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

College Counseling

As a graduate of CWRU, I have 9 years' worth of experience with regard to undergraduate, graduate, job, and medical school applications. I am currently in the process of applying to medical residencies across the country. As a result, I am well aware of the factors considered in admission decisions and how applications can be tailored to best represent a candidate.

MCAT

I'm a current second-year medical student and a former high school physics and chemistry teacher. I taught for 2 years as a teacher and another 2 years before that as a tutor. I also graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a dual degree major in Biochemistry and Cognitive Science.

USMLE

I passed USMLE Step 1 and Step 2.
