I am a professional librarian practicing in public libraries, academic libraries and law firm libraries. My research has taken me into many different areas of knowledge. My academic career was focused on political science with extensive class work in history, literature, art history and anthropology. I continue to add to my resume by attending adult education classes and lectures at various academic institutions in Chicago. I have been able to offer theses classes as I have taken master's classes in Italian cooking in Venice and Milan. I have also attended the Culinary Institute in Napa Valley and have traveled to Mexico to cook with Chef Rick Bayless through the Culinary Institute in Napa.
I am a dedicated instructor, this is true in the work environment as well as the home environment. I believe that all information should be shared and all students should learn how to find information and apply that information to further their success. I have fun when I teach people how to learn for themselves with encouragement from me and using all resources that are available to learn.
Throughout my academic career I took many literature classes. I continue to read, explore and attend seminars on new and classic literature. Literature should be a subject that comes alive for students.
