About Kelly

I have been a special education teacher for the past 16 years. My specialties are working with struggling students and math; however, I have taught all subject areas at all grade levels k-12. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Ed, Special Ed and Secondary Ed. I also hold a Master's Degree in Educational Administration.

I enjoy tutoring and working with students on an individual basis. I feel that tutoring sessions benefit my students because they are receiving lessons, reinforcement and support tailored to his or her individual needs. I am very patient, reliable and supportive. I also have a wealth of experience and resources to help students achieve their goals and progress academically.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
