I have taught students in grades K-12 for 22+ years, having experience in Chicago's finest private, parochial, and public institutions. Most of that time has been spent working with intermediate grade students. I hold high expectations for all the students with whom I work, and have maintained very strong, long-term relationships with students and parents. I have developed many innovative and creative curricular pieces over the years, and continue to work to get the most out of the subject domains in which I teach. I have experience in leading teams of teachers to develop their practices and have also taught numerous pre-service teachers, as well.

I am also a published writer, working in the genres of poetry and academic writing. While I am extremely proficient in all subject areas, I have a particular affinity for elementary and middle school mathematics and science, as well as writing and literature.
