Todd is an incredible tutor and truly knows and understands the MCAT. It was great to finally find someone who was able to tutor me on the verbal reasoning section of the test. Other tutors I've worked with have not been able to help in that area. He was able to help me through the most commonly tested subjects and help me apply those concepts to new passages. He was very patient, even with the most basic of questions. I haven't gotten my test scores back yet, but he helped pull my practice test scores up 6 points. Don't waste your time with other MCAT tutors!
Todd is helping me with physical sciences and chemistry portion of the MCAT. Getting help from him is like getting help from someone with the knowledge of a college professor that wrote the MCAT (he didn't write it but he's got great strategies). He raised my score in that section by 4 points! I'm really happy with the tutoring that I received.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I took the MCAT last year and scored in the 99th percentile. I've taught for large companies both one-on-one and large classes.
