My name is Abby and I am the tutor that you are looking for! To tell you a little about myself, I graduated with my Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance from Columbus State University in Columbus, GA. I graduated in 3 years with a 3.9 GPA and was a 4.0 honor graduate in high school as well. I am known by my friends as a hyper-organized over-achiever and I take that as a compliment. :)
I always enjoyed school, but I know that isn't the case for all kids. I believe my background in theatre helps me be better tutor. I have a great deal of experience with kids of all ages and have taken education courses while earning my undergrad degree. I am confident that I can tutor your beloved children while also instilling my love of school in them. That is my hope! I consider myself fun-loving, but goal-oriented so your kids won't be bored, but you will be sure that they will improve and grow through my instruction.
Please let me know if you have any other questions and thank you for your consideration!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
My father is/was one of the best technical tennis players I know and had me on the courts when my racket was bigger than I was. I have taken lessons from him, from tennis pros in my hometown in GA, and from tennis coaches over the past 12 years. I was on my high school varsity tennis team all four years and was a state-winning singles players my junior and senior year. Though I am very much interested and skilled in the technical aspects of the sport, I am focused on the fun of the sport and the sportsmanship that goes along with playing with partners and with a competitor.
