My name is Jorge A., and I am a University of Cambridge CELTA certified. As a bilingual (Spanish and English) Chicago resident, I know the importance of language and the many doors it can open.
I have been working in Chicago for the past 17 years in Management/Human Resources and as a local business owner for the past ten years. I have also been involved in the Chicago theater community, both as a performer and playwright.
I would love to establish a good productive relationship with each of my students and enable them in the improvement of their English language skills. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
