Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Calculus

I've completed up to calculus 2 in college. I've been tutoring Calculus for a few years now my knowledge goes up calculus 2.

Elementary Math

I've tutored basic Algebra and basic math fundamentals for 8 plus years.

Prealgebra

There is nothing in prealgebra that I can't do.

Writing

Good at figuring out thesis statements, brain storming, and finding credible sources.

Knows His Stuff!!

This tutor knows how to get down to business. I have the most challenging professor at my school for Algebra 140 through Calc 2. Adolfo was able to answer EVERY SINGLE QUESTION that I had problems with. He is quick and has a knack for explaining the "why" of how things transform graphically/ algebraically. He is proficient with logs/ln/e and made them easier to understand. He was able to simplify
