About Howard

I have been playing tennis for the past 25 years, and have had privates, as well as have been teaching with the Discovery Center for the last two years. The privates that I have taught have learned much from me, and have continued on their own to play the game. I have USNTA certification, which I have earned over five years ago. I live and breathe tennis! I feel that I would make a terrific tennis instructor because all who have taken lessons from me, including my wife knows that I am an incredibly patient, persistent, and knowledgeable, and know how to work with everybody, from all walks of life. I am passionate about the subject, and talk about it all the time! Please feel free to ask me anything else about me. Thank you, and I hope we have a long and productive relationship! Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Religion

I have been a Religious School teacher, and a principal of the School for the Deaf, on Oakton Street, as well as taught for several other schools, and have privately taught. I have been schooled at Telse Yeshivah, and Bais Medrash Latorah, as well as some very exclusive kollelim. You will find my knowledge broad and deep, and I can make learning fun and enjoyable!

Tennis

I was taught tennis when I was just three years old, and have been playing it ever since. I took a correspondence course from the USNTA in 2005, and passed with flying colors. I have been working with the Discovery Center for about two years now, and all of the students have learned a lot from me, and love the game now!
