I am a professional journalist and have taught writing for 10 years. I may be more expensive than other tutors, but I am among the top writing teachers/private tutors you can hire. I focus in all aspects of academic to business to creative writing, and I excel in writing resumes, cover letters, and college admission essays.
I have received stellar evaluations from both students and administration. I have worked with all academic levels and ages of students. I have a high success rate and guarantee you WILL LEARN regardless of your educational background.
Writing is an art and a science. I recognize raw talent and can help direct it; I also work with students with learning disabilities, and I will be honest about the student's ability to learn. Telling students they can do ANYTHING they want is wrong, because it sets them up for failure. If you want to improve your writing skills, I can teach you any type, style, any tone, and for all media.
I will adjust my fee if a student wants a series of tutoring appointments.
Lindsey N. I am a professional journalist and have taught writing for 10 years. I may be more expensive than other tutors, but I am among the top writing teachers/private tutors you can hire. I focus in all aspects of academic to business to creative writing, and I excel in writing resumes, cover letters, and college admission essays.
I am a professional journalist who writes quickly, at an intuitive level, once we discuss the goals. Many tutors don't write professionally, so I have a clear advantage.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
