Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Accounting

Accounting, as a subject is divided into four sections: Beginning, Intermediate, and advanced core courses as well as the accounting electives.
To understand Accounting is to learn and follow the blueprint. As a tutor it is my duty to see to it that my students have a clear and precise understand of the subject and have a comfortable feel about their ability within the subject matter.

Business

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. I majored in accounting and minored in finance. I also have a Master in Accounting and Financial Management degree from Keller Graduate School of Management.

Microsoft Excel

As a business professional I have over ten years experience with Microsoft Office. I have used Microsoft Excel in over two hundred assignments within the Chicagoland area.

Tax Preparation

I have served since 2008 as a certified tax preparer with the Center for Economic Progress. Each year we are train on the changes that have occurred. We are required to take and pass the basic and advanced tax exam. I have certified every year from 2008 to 2014
