Northeastern University (Elementary Teacher)
Hello. My name is Rosie and I have been tutoring all subjects K-6th for eight years now. I am a certified teacher K-8th and I have Special Education degree K-12. I use to teach third grade at a private school. Then I decided to stay home with my own children and that is when I started tutoring. I love working with students one-on one because its nice to be able to see them grow and learn faster. My goal is to listen to my students and help guide them to reach their full potential. I use hands on learning and I work with the teacher and parents to make sure the student is making progress. Furthermore, I have also worked with ESL students and I have helped them get ahead in English. Hope to hear from you.

I went back to school to get my special education degree LSB1. I always struggled in school myself and I always thought that is what made me such a good tutor (teacher). Then I had my own child with ADD/ADHD and it push me to learn more ways to help these children. I believe that each child has a unique learning style and personality. I know that everyone can learn, given the right structure and motivation. I am a caring and patient teacher that will help improve your child confidence, study skills and grades.
Hello! My name is Mrs. Rosie S. and I am a certified special education teacher. I have also taught many students with dyslexia. My own son has dyslexia and after finding out I started getting more involved with teaching dyslexic children. I am a member of the International Dyslexia Association and I always go to their conferences when they are in town. I am always educating myself and other about the latest and greatest ways we can help our kids reach their full potential. I have taken several classes on multisensory teaching, for example Wilson Reading, Orton-Gillingham Approach and The Slant System. I would integrate these educational intervention strategies into my lesson and then review and move ahead of exceptions!

I am a certified special education teacher. I have experience with children with all types of learning needs. I went into special education because my own son learns differently, and I have found wonderful ways to teach him. I work with the parents and teachers to make sure we are all making excellent progress.
I have helped many students in all subjects get them self organized. I do this by teaching them organizational skills, testing skills, and studying skills. I guide them in the right direction when they need to depend on themselves to stay organized. I usually get to know how the child unique learning style and personality is like. Then we discuss the best way to start getting them organized. Some children like to use charts, highlights, and folders. I take the time to work with what style is best for you child.
