I have been teaching for 20 years in general education and special education settings. I enjoy working with students of all ages and abilities to help them reach their fullest potential.I help the students learn the tools and skills they need to be successful in school. When appropriate, I will provide activities for the students to practice at home to increase their skills. At the end of each session I will provide feedback to the parent/guardian and explain any activities to practice at home. For older students and adults, I will ensure assignments are clear before the end of the session.

I am pretty flexible with my availability to tutor. I have a 24 hour cancellation policy, however, I will try my best to arrange for a make up session. I will tutor in any of the local libraries or another public location that is agreeable to all parties.

I look forward to working with you in order to help you and/or your child to achieve academic success.

I have worked with special education students from 18-21 years old. As part of the curriculum for these students is a focus on Career Development. I have used career inventories to help students find a job they are interested. I have worked with students filling out applications, interviews, follow letters, cover letters, and resumes. I have also created units to also focus on the skills that are needed to keep a job. I have also worked as a job coach for students who have gotten a job but still needed some support.
