About Anton

Bio

I am a Windows software developer who has developed custom physical computing and data acquisition software applications for a major international corporation since 2001.

That's my day job.

I also work as a mentor and tutor for software developers, I am available from 5 pm to 10 pm US Central Time every evening and I am usually available on appointment on the weekends.

I prefer to work online but I will meet a student for live sessions if the distance is relatively close to me.

I have been a professional programmer for about 18+ years now. My specialty is C++.

However, I have been working as a computer programming mentor on another platform since 2019.
I have successfully completed over 400+ jobs with over 250+ five (5) star reviews. My experience includes mentoring in C, C++, C#, Java and Visual Basic.

I know how to use my tools and years of experience to communicate to students how to be the best programmer that they can be. I do this by making sure that the students fully understand the basics of programming and that they understand how to best use their programming tools.

So if you need help learning how to programming in the above languages, please do not hesitate to contact me. I will love to assist you!

C,

C

I have experience in C due to my long experience of C++ (mostly in Windows). I have done some projects in embedded C and I have successfully tutored several student in C on another platform.
C#,

C#

I have mostly used C# as a mentor on another platform for about year. I have grown to enjoy it and I list it as my second favorite language (after C++). It is very similar to C++ (much like Java) and I have assisted more than 30 students so far with C# on some very extensive projects.
C++,

C++

C++ is the language that I first learned and is the one that I have the most experience (18+ years). I have mostly use Visual C++ and Microsoft Foundation Classes but I have recently completed quite a few projects that have given me at lot of experience with STL. I have completed over 25 successful projects in Visual C++. These were all physical computing projects that used data acquisition and simple robotics to functionally test manufactured electronic products to ensure they met quality specifications before they were delivered to the customer. My favorite book on software development is Effective C++ by Scott Meyers. I love programming in C++!
Java,

Java

Due to my extensive programming experience and tutoring/Mentor experience, I have been able to successfully tutor/mentor over thirty (30) students in Java. Java is not my primary language (C++ is my primary language). However due to the similarities in the language (After all, Java was designed to be a better C++l), I can find my way around it fairly quickly.
Visual Basic

Visual Basic

I have about 5 years experience with Visual Basic as a maintenance programmer. However, I have successfully mentored several students on another platform on Visual Basic. It is not my favorite language but I know it well enough to teach and tutor it.

AMAZING Teacher

I was having trouble remembering all the core concepts of Java and some old sorting algorithm with heaps and Anton took the time to let everything be clear and easy to understand. He is patient and great at breaking difficult problems down. Would 100% recommend to anybody struggling with Java or C++

Great teacher

Anton was able to sit down and explain my c++ questions from start to finish, and also helped me understand how to use recourses in my compiler and on google. I would highly recommend Anton for any college student.
