I have taught Spanish and English as a second language for several years and have found that the best way to learn a new language is through complete immersion coupled with intrinsic learning. It is essential to go back to the fundamental beginnings of a language and learn as a child would learn a native tongue.
I have a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Liberty University. I am certified to teach K-6 grades in Virginia and K-9 in Illinois. I have taught pre-K, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades.
I integrate the original lesson plans, arts, and play with complete Spanish immersion to bring out each student's natural ability to learn language. I develop an interactive, customized learning schedule that will meet the individual needs of each of my students/families.
Parents are welcome to join in on the fun!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
