As someone who always loves to learn new things, I also love to share that enthusiasm with my students. I am a certified K-6 teacher, specializing in math and language arts. I have had the pleasure of helping many students not only realize their own potential and see their grades improve, but also gain confidence in their learning and abilities.

I strive to keep lessons challenging, but not overwhelming. I may assign homework to help with practicing and will provide periodic assessments and progress reports. I can also help with organizational skills and study skills.

I am available evenings and select times on the weekends. My base rate is $35 and tutoring location can be in your home or at a neutral place such as a library.

I love playing with numbers! Math can be a scary subject for some children and struggling typically leads to loss of confidence. I have had successes with making math fun and/or interesting.

Reading success comes with practice, comprehension and tapping in to the child's individual interests. It can be a bad cycle...child doesn't like to read so they don't read, they don't read because perhaps the aren't comprehending, they are not comprehending because they're uninterested. I work to break that cycle.

Certified K-6. I am a firm believer that the elementary years are where we set the base for the learners years of education. I work hard to help the student build a strong foundation to support the many years of learning ahead.
