I am owner and therapist of Performance and Recovery Systems, a sports therapy clinic for rehabilitation and athletic performance. I have multiple undergraduate degrees including a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from St. Ambrose University.
A lot of my job is communicating with and equipping my patients the necessary tools needed to become healthy. Although I do not have a formal teaching degree or certification i do have a lot of experience with teaching and communicating with my patient athletes about anatomy, physiology,and exercise rehabilitation.
I enjoy teaching and communicating to others and look forward to helping you with your needs as well.
I have two undergraduate degrees from St. Ambrose University, with a minor in biology. My majors include exercise science, and my second major is Strength and Human Performance. After completing my undergraduate degree i completed my secondary degree from St. Ambrose and obtained my Masters in Science of Physical Therapy.
Throughout my formal education i had many advanced classes and labs that gave me a great understanding of health, nutrition, exercise and performance.
Along with my educational degrees i took it upon myself to continue to advance my knowledge by obtaining multiple certification pertaining to the physical therapy and rehab field.
I attended St. Ambrose University as a student athlete. I was recruited athlete and played football for 3 years. After my graduate degree i continued my path in strength and physique sports and ended up becoming an elite level powerlifter and bodybuilder as well. I currently help train/teach and coach many individuals in strength and physique sports.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have completed in multiple bodybuilding competitions and have been training as well as competing as bodybuilder for over 5 years. I have worked my way from a novice bodybuilder to and top level amateur in the mid west area.
I have also helped competitors prepare for the competitions with dieting and training programs.
I obtained my CSCS from the National Strength and Conditioning Association while attending St. Ambrose university. I used and continue to use this certification as well as my degrees in exercise science and strength and human performance to train national level physique and strength athletes.
My secondary degree in physical therapy leaves me with an increased knowledge and level of experience pertaining to fitness and performance as well as the rehabilitation.
Part of my education in my undergraduate and graduate degrees was aimed at receiving and understanding basic and advanced nutritional principles that would better help me manage my patients and their success.
I have taken it upon myself to self study as to increase my knowledge over the years to better help my strength and physique athletes. This is evident based on their success in competition and on stage.
