I am a 55 year old male. I have tutored math and science courses while taking medical science classes at the University of Illinois years ago. I have one child in high school and one in 5th grade thus I stay sharp on many of the math and science courses by assisting them. My strengths include biology, and related subjects such as physiology, microbiology, genetics. Math subjects that I am strong in include Algebra and Geometry.
I tend to see where the student is coming from first. By that I mean I review information in their notes or books with them, thus helping them understand principles then applying that understanding to assigned or relevant problems. I enjoy helping students learn easy ways to master information and problems. I enjoy discovering ways to make subject material simple to grasp and understand.
Please message me if you think I can be of assistance.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
My qualifications include a full year of human anatomy at the University of ILL. Medical School.
My educational background in genetics includes above average grades in genetics glass in college, in addition to similar performance in the subject on graduate medical level.
