I am in the mathematics honors society Kappa Mu Epsilon. I was awarded the 2013 undergraduate award in inorganic chemistry from the American Chemical Society. I tutored math at a community college up to differential equations as a student tutor and privately tutored students in chemistry as a student. I also was a teaching assistant for the lab portion of organic chemistry and for real analysis in Benedictine University. I currently tutor math, statistics, and chemistry at another community college as a professional tutor.
I love tutoring because I love to make math, statistics, and chemistry accessible to everyone. I believe that anyone can learn as long as the student is willing to put in the work and the tutor is patient.

I have a B.S. in Mathematics. I can tutor algebra, trigonometry, college algebra, precalculus, calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, and ACT Math.

Please send me a request for more information. I am available for a free face to face consultation.

Statistics

I needed to hire a tutor since I will be taking my first statistics class for winter quarter. From our first introduction to the end of hours, she put me at ease and explained the material they way I needed. Thank you, Sandra. We will be setting up weekly tutoring sessions going forward.

Genius and Personable

Sarah was really amazing. I had a practice exam packet for Business Stats that she helped me with. She will go at your pace; slow down or skip to where you need the actual help. She will even ask questions throughout the session to make sure you're not missing anything. I also like that she uses "steps" to explain things. She really dumbs it down, but is also very efficient. She also has a notebook that she shows you everything on and even sends you all of those notes. Big help!! Will use her again.

Very fun to work with

I have had multiple lessons from Sandra and each time she was so helpful! She always wanted to be prepared so she can help you get all of the information you need in the time you want. She is very passionate about her job and loves what she does. She was constantly making me laugh right along with her. If I ever need any more help with my math classes I will for sure be calling her!
