I am Betty, an Italian native speaker with teaching experience at different levels. I come from Bergamo (Northern Italy) a nice town full of Medieval history. I have been living in America since 2004, and I am truly enthusiastic about the possibility of sharing my Italian culture with my students.
I have taught Italian to both adults and kids and I really enjoyed doing it: seeing their improvements is very rewarding for me. My working schedule is pretty flexible. I will tailor my lessons based on your needs and your final goals, using different teaching strategies and materials.
I look forward to teaching Italian to you soon,

Karen thank a lot for your feedback! You are a great student, too. I am enjoying our Thursday evening lessons! Ci vediamo presto! (See you soon!)
Elisabetta explains concepts with the simplicity I need. She patiently answers all of my questions, even if she just showed me what I'm asking. Excellent instructor!
Betty came to the class very well prepared. She introduced herself and she talked about her Italian background and education. She is excellent communicator, very knowledgeable about teaching Italian. I would highly recommend her.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
