I see mathematics as a logical system where all of the components fit together. One of the frustrations I see in students who are challenged by math is that they don't see, for example, the relationship between arithmetic and algebra, or how they will realistically use either one outside of school. For that reason, I focus on fitting the pieces together and not just on the method to solve a particular type of problem. I believe each component of mathematics builds on those before and lays the foundation for those after.

I don't have any formal tutoring experience outside Wyzant, but I'm eager to share some of my excitement for math with others and to help them succeed. I respond to messages quickly, so if you have any questions or would like to schedule a lesson, please feel free to reach out.

Chill, and patient tutor

Jarom really helped me solve some logical problems with my excel VBA. He was able to help me with a more finance oriented question, despite being unfamiliar with my topic! Thanks to his help, I was able to score a 100 on the exam! I really appreciate the time he took to help me out, especially on such short notice. Cool guy as well, very laid back, and willing to work with you.
