I am a recent graduate of Gonzaga University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics. I am a math nerd that wants to share my love of numbers with anyone who will listen. I am passionate about the subject and am dedicated to helping students discover their mathematic abilities.
I believe there are countless ways of looking at every math problem, and that the key to success in math is figuring out what works best for each individual. I encourage students to use their creativity and critical thinking to figure out math problems while also giving concrete instruction to develop a sturdy understanding of the material.
I have experience tutoring at the elementary, high school, and college level. I have tutored students in subjects including elementary math, algebra, geometry, calculus, microeconomics, and high school-level French. Through earning an undergraduate degree in mathematics I have developed a deep understanding of calculus and all preceding math courses. I also have received a degree in economics and a minor in French.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
