My name is Fallon, and I'm a 21 year old graduate from the University of Idaho. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in English with a creative writing emphasis. Literature, vocabulary, and spelling and grammar are my strong-suits and passion. I was an avid writer in college and took pride in helping others edit their essays and stories. I was taught extensive close-reading skills, how to analyze elements of stories, spell-check, and spot grammatical errors. Last year, I edited a friend's children's story and it is currently being published. On numerous occasions in college, I was the person to run to for help before papers were due. I have an odd talent of being able to spell many words on the spot.
I earned my degree in a variety of aspects of the English language, and I am confident in saying I am well rounded. I would like to put it to use by helping others. I want to be an elementary or high school tutor in reading, spelling, grammar and language because I feel like I can make a difference. If I get the chance to tutor kids, I truly believe their grades and confidence will improve as mine did with hard work, focus, and practice.
Thank you for reading a little bit about me. I am very eager to tutor those of you who would like some assistance for school. If your grades are slipping or you find yourself struggling, or need to prepare for tests, please feel free to contact me. I am more than happy to help and look forward to meeting you. Thank you! In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
