I began private tutoring on accident 5 years ago, when a few peers needed help with course work. As I began my studies as an Aerospace Engineer, I decided to tutor math students of all ages and truly developed a love for helping others feel confident and capable in themselves. After receiving my bachelors degree, I decided to pursue education in a graduate program, as well as continuing to tutor students of all ages. It is so important that a student feels comfortable with their teachers, and that it is a cooperative learning environment, as a opposed to direct teaching. My goal is to not just help a student pass a test, but to help them build confidence in themselves to be successful moving forward (we also have a little bit of fun along the way...)!
I can help navigate through all K-12 common core math courses and standards, as well as ACT, SAT, GRE, and most college level courses as well.
I would love to chat to see if this would be a good fit, and to set up a free trial session if you are interested! I look forward to meeting you and helping you feel more confident in mathematics.
