I was a high school teacher in Arizona before retiring a few years ago. My family lives in Iowa so I moved from Arizona to Iowa. I began substitute teaching in Iowa. I have subbed every grade level and most core subjects. My favorite thing to teach is math. I have been tutoring with an emphasis in math the last two years. I taught an ACT test prep course for the last two years with my students increasing their score from 2-4 points.

I hold a degree from ASU (sum cum laude) in education. I have credentials in special education, general education, ESL, secondary English, and Math.

I have taught both elementary and high school level math. I have taught both the ACT and SAT test prep. I am qualified in ACT math test prep, both Algebra 1 and 2, and all levels of K-8.

I am excited to be able to help you understand not only math calculations but the way we use these in our everyday life.
