I spent a time as a Teaching Assistant at Iowa State University where I really learned how much I enjoy teaching. Helping students understand something they are struggling with or that they are genuinely curious about is very rewarding. Most of my work with students was one-on-one which helped me see how different people have their own methods of learning. I prefer to tailor to what works for each individual and give them the tools to have it ‘click’ for them in the best way for them.
