Hello!
My name is Jonathan and I love both learning and teaching, and luckily I have a lot of practice in both! In high school I took several AP and honors courses in Physics, Calculus, English, and Latin. I took an SAT prep-course in high school to help maximize my test scores, so I know from experience how personal tutoring can help raise scores. I chose Physics as my undergraduate major because I found it so interesting and I enjoyed tutoring my non science major classmates.

I was then accepted to medical school, where there is a constant culture of the upper year students tutoring and teaching the lower year students in their courses. I am now a stay at home dad, while my wife works. I wish to continue teaching as I find it enriching for myself and I hope to help the children around my community in reaching whatever goals they wish.
Why should I tutor you in Math? When I was in school, I scored 750 out of 800 on my SAT Math section. I recently took an ACT Math section practice questions and scored 100%. I enjoy Math and Science, as I have studied it for both my undergraduate and doctorate degree.
Why should I tutor you in Science? My undergraduate degree was in Physics, which included courses in chemistry, biology, and engineering. Even though I went on to study medicine, I still have a deep love and passion for the basic sciences, and continue to read in those areas for pleasure.
Why should I tutor you in Latin? I have a total of 6 years of Latin in both high school and college. In undergraduate I had a minor in Classics which included Latin but also other aspects of Roman Civilization such as archaeology, art, history, philosophy. Early on, I had a tutor of my own in Latin, and then excelled and became a tutor myself.
Why should I tutor you in English or Language arts? My school had a rigorous vocabulary curriculum. I also took an SAT prep course when I was in high school that taught me expertly of vocabulary, punctuation, and grammar. I love vocabulary and teaching others new words
