I have particular expertise in reading, writing, and public speaking. I taught in the communications department. I have a great deal of experience reviewing rubrics and assignments as well. I taught business and professional writing for many years and have much experience writing resumes, proposals, business reports, and technical documents. I wrote newsletters and designed the educational programs for an Eye Bank so I have additional experience in editing and writing.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
