For my undergraduate studies, I chose to study Biology and Spanish at the University of Notre Dame. Throughout my undergraduate career, I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to tutor and guide high school and university students. I have tutored students in Chemistry, Trigonometry, Biology, and writing skills. All of my students have showcased significant improvement in their respective subject areas. My most effective strategy has been my ability to break down seemingly complex topics into steps and terms that are better and more easily understood. One of my principal beliefs is that, in order to do well in a subject, it is important to be able to have an in-depth understanding of the subject, and form relationships between concepts. This strategy helps improve memory of the material, and also increase the student’s interest in the subject.

In high school, I got straight A’s in my trigonometry, Algebra, pre-calculus, Biology Honors, and A.P Biology classes. I also scored at the 96th percentile on the Biology section of my MCAT exam. I have always had a deep passion for these subjects, and I aim to share this passion with my students.

I absolutely love working with students and I encourage full engagement. My highest priority is ensuring that you, the student, can improve your understanding of the subject material, and also develop an interest in the subject.
