I am a former patent attorney who is now able to pursue what he enjoys - tutoring others. I graduated Valedictorian at Iowa City High School's class of 2002, graduated with highest distinction from the University of Iowa's College of Engineering in 2006, and with distinction from the University of Iowa's College of Law in 2009. Official transcripts can be provided upon request. During my time as a student, I was always informally tutoring my classmates because I enjoy helping others learn. And, as a patent attorney between 2009 and 2021, I helped run the tutoring program at my law firm to teach new patent engineers and associates how to learn about new technologies and prepare patent applications. While I enjoyed my work for my clients as patent attorney, I enjoyed tutoring my new colleagues even more. I now have the opportunity to do what I've always enjoyed most - tutoring those who want to learn.

Math was always my top subject and I love explaining it just as much as I love practicing it. As a sophomore in high school, I scored a 5 on the AP Calculus exam.
