Hello everyone! My name is Sarah. I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Bachelor's degree in Finance in three years. During my undergrad, I realized I was very patient about helping others succeed with their education in career. By being apart of my college's president for Phi Beta Lamda (national business organization) and my state's vice president, I have helped several college students succeed in reaching their goals. During this time, I realized that I also wanted to eventually become a professor because I enjoyed explaining subjects to students who struggled with concepts. Upon my completion of my undergrad, I continued on a graduated with my Master's in Accounting within a year. During that time, I accepted a position as a Graduate Assistant and helped tutored several students throughout my time there.
After graduating with my Master's, I took a job as a staff auditor with the state government. I was a staff auditor for two years in which a conducted several audits on my own. I am currently a staff accountant two at my current job where I handle several aspects of accounts receivables. I also am a adjunct professor at Grand View University and Drake University I did my undergrad at, teaching a wide range of subjects, such as auditing theory, corporate finance, advanced accounting, etc. I have a wide range of expertise in managerial accounting, financial accounting, governmental accounting, auditing theory, and more from my current and previous employments.
I always want to help students understand concepts that they struggle with. It does not matter how long it takes, I will work with them until they truly understand and feel more comfortable with the material. I am always easy to reach and free during the week in the afternoons and anytime during the day on the weekends. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or want to schedule a lesson!
